Attention: Philips CPAP Machines & At-Home Ventilators HAVE BEEN RECALLED

On June 30, 2021, Philips Respironics recalled certain ventilators, BiPAP, and CPAP machines due to potential health risks. According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the polyester-based polyurethane (PE-PUR) sound abatement foam can break down and release black debris and certain chemicals into the patient’s airway.
