Feazell libel case to start in Waco

WACO (AP) – A $36 million libel lawsuit against a Dallas TV station is set to go to trial today, almost five years after it was filed by former McLennan County District Attorney Vic Feazell.
Feazell sued WFAA-TV in June 1986, claiming he was defamed by a series of reports alleging kickbacks, preferential prosecution and questionable bookkeeping.
