Street Talk Local citizens react to Walker’s indictments What is your reaction to the indictments against Sheriff Ed Walker? “I just think they ought to give him a chance to prove that he didn’t do it. Like he said, ‘Politics is the head of it,’ because I do know Ed Walker.” Edna Bivan, 61, Retired “Well I really don’t know what to say because I really don’t know him that well. But I think we should look into it and see what the results are because as a public we don’t know if we don’t check into something like that and find out for sure,” Beulah Thomas, 67, Retired “If he’s guilty I think that he should have to do … if you do the crime you do the time. I’ve just been her four years and from what people tell me around here, everybody who gets in office gets into something.
